Paving Refurbishment
We have outlined below the process for Block paving cleaning and sealing -
Stage 1: It is always best to spray the entire block paved area with fungicidal wash to eradicate any algae spores and weed growths.
Stage 2: The area is then cleaned using a high pressured rotary headed cleaner to remove any weeds, lichen plus any dirt that may have built up on the block paving over time. Any oil stains should also be treated and removed at this stage.
Stage 3: Pure kiln dried sand is then swept into the joints of the paving to stop any movement of the blocks.
Stage 4: Smartseal block paving sealant is then sprayed* onto the block paving. This will provide lasting protection from the weather and general wear and tear.
*Two coats of block paving sealer is sprayed onto the paved area to ensure each block and surrounding jointing sand is fully covered to provide the most protection.
